The Healing Powers Of The Crystal Bowl

By Sarah Primus

Hey this is Cheri, Sorry to take so long at getting this post up…I am working on learning a new healing system and my body went into detox mode and put me under the weather for  about four days. Later in the year I will share my experience with this system.

So back to this week’s post by Sarah, called The Healing Powers Of The Crystal Bowl. Helping Sarah to get this video up and going was fun.  What made it especially fun was Sarah’s Mom, Mary was in for a visit from Kansas and of course we dragged her into the video with Sarah.  We shot the video in Sarah’s healing room with natural light and we used Sarah crystal bowls.

For Sarah and I, being musicians and massage therapist, we appreciate and use healing sounds like crystal bowls and music in our everyday healing practice. So this is close to our hearts. We would like to make it clear that you do not have to be a musician or a massage therapist to use, enjoy and receive the benefit of healing sounds and music. It can be as simple as buying a CD of crystal bowl sounds or going all the way and buying your own crystal bowls and feeling the power and vibration first hand.

To learn more how crystal bowls and the powers they have to enhance healing visit World Puja Radio where my friend, Kumari Mullin of Kumari Healing has a show called  “Co-Creation Activations”. She gets into detail on how the crystal bowls work and which crystal bowl is right for you.

The Art Of Cupping

Cupping

By Cheri Abrams

Ancient Cup For Cupping

Well this little video was fun to shoot. Sarah and I got to play with our new lighting and backgrounds and of course we had a lot of help from Lucy & Ethel. As my husband refers to as chaos in cat form. Thank goodness I did a voice over because all you would have  heard was two cats screaming in and out of the room, banging into walls and getting tangled up in the backdrops. Oh, the challenges of having a home studio. And yes they will be lock out the next time.

Tom Turcotte In China

I was introduced to the art of cupping by my teacher and mentor, Tom Turcotte of Orlando, Florida. Tom is a doctor in (TCM), a Massage Therapist as well as a Kung Fu Master. He started teaching me Kung Fu and Tai Chi in the early 90s and he encouraged me to become a Massage Therapist. So I took his advice and went to massage school in 95. After I became a therapist, Tom started introducing me to Shiatsu, Herbology and Cupping.

Cupping is very therapeutic and healing and can help with chronic injuries. Most Acupuncturist and some Massage Therapist are trained in the art of cupping. If you are a Massage Therapist who is looking for a modality that can get deep without stressing out your body, cupping might be for you. There are plenty of courses through out the US and the UK.

So I hope you enjoy our little video.
